LIME is a fashion brand operating a large retail and wholesale network across Russia. Founded in Samara in 2008, the company has grown into a major fashion retailer with around 100 stores and more than 1,000 employees.

As the business expanded, LIME needed to modernize its operational and management accounting environment, improve data quality, and create scalable processes capable of supporting its growing retail operations.

Challenges

Before the project, LIME relied on two core information systems — 1C:Trade Management and 1C:Comprehensive Automation — which together performed the role of the company’s ERP environment.

However, the existing architecture presented several challenges:

As the number of stores, products, collections, and transactions increased, the company required a more scalable and centralized approach to operational and management accounting.

Solution

LIME selected 1C:Comprehensive Automation 2.5 (1C:Enterprise-based solution) as the core system for its new operational and management accounting environment.

The project was implemented gradually within the company's existing IT infrastructure. Instead of replacing all systems at once, new functionality was introduced step by step, allowing LIME to continue its daily operations while progressively moving business processes to the new environment.

The solution centralized key operational data and provided dedicated workplaces and automated workflows for different business functions.
